About Me
Radio calendula is a variety of Calendula officinalis, commonly known as the pot marigold.
I'm a person, commonly known as Mariel Laugesen, Měryem al Ixbilǐa or Meryem al-Ishbiliyya in the Society for Creative Anachronism, and CalendulaAsteraceae (Calendula, Callie) online. I'm fluent in English and Spanish, know some Italian, and am learning French. Feel free to talk to me in any of these languages (or others, but in that case I make no guarantees).
My interests include:
- Programming
- Mathematics
- Digitizing public-domain works
- Creating vector graphics
- Tatting (shuttle lacemaking)
- Translation, linguistics, and language-learning
